One of the greatest advantages of owning a Vixen Product, is how easy it is to interchange our telescope tubes with various mounts. You can start with a basic scope and manual Porta II Mount and, when you are ready, move up to either a larger scope or a computerized mount. The same starter telescope that can be purchased with our popular Porta II Mount can be easily transferred to our motorized GP2 Mount for Astrophotography and back again for travelling. Or, if it is computerization that you are looking for, Vixen has a variety of mounts. From the SKYPOD Alt-Az Mount to the Sphinx Mount; the New ATLUX Mount with Starbook Hand controller or the heavy duty GAIAX Mount ...Vixen has a Telescope/Mount combination to suit your needs.
