I have to admit the combination of the ED80Sf and Porta Mount is my favorite combination of telescope and mount for on-the-go observing. I keep this package in my living room where it looks very cool and is always waiting for me when I have the urge to observe. When guests are over it seems we somehow always manage to spend a few minutes looking at the rings of Saturn or other “Oh-Wow” objects. It can be moved as one unit quickly with zero set up time.
